In today’s episode we will be going to explore THE HINDU’s editorial “In Uttarakhand, a mandate for renewal” for words with rich vocabulary.

Word 1

Turmoil 

Class : Noun

Meaning : a state of great disturbance, confusion, or uncertainty

Synonyms : Disorder, Trouble

Antonyms : Calmness, Pleasure

Example Sentences:

The court ruling was the culmination of months of political turmoil and public protest.

Spell

Tribulation

Lament

Meaning : a passionate expression of grief or sorrow
