If you are a lady aspirant then try to give preference to the bank which has maximum number of branches in your state. If you are North Indian or South Indian just give preference to the banks which have headquarters near to your state or having maximum branches in your state.
Before making your final list keep in your mind that after final selection you have to serve the particular bank for at least 30 years or more.
Area/ Location& Headquarters
The location and area of the headquarters of the banks and their branches is the vital criteria and it must be taken into consideration when filling up the preferences. You may also want to get your postings in some specific areas or regions of the country. You must go through the transfer policies of the banks you are interested in to make a preference list, based on what you think will work best for you.
Go with your personal choice
You can also choose a bank if you dream to be a part of particular bank. Most of the PSU Banks (under IBPS) offer similar kind of salary structure and also follow a similar kind of promotion policy.
