State Bank of India Officer Recruitment 2016 notification indicated 33 Officers Vacancies in Specialized Positions on contractual / permanent basis and 46 Officers Vacancies in Specialized Positions for Wealth Management. Candidates will be selected through shortlisting and interviews.

State Bank of India recruitment personnels will go through applications received. Based on several factors such as educational qualifications, work experience, and others, they will shortlist a certain number of candidates. Such shortlisted candidates will have to appear for interviews at assigned centers.
SBI will decide cut off marks for interview. Only those who obtain cut off marks or more in interviews will be eligible to be in merit list.
For selection, State Bank of India will prepare a merit list. Merit list will have list of applicants in descending order of interview marks.
In the event that two or more candidates have same marks in interviews, then they will be ranked in order of age (higher age will be ranked higher)
